Personal data we process
EEAS processes your personal data because you use our services and/or because you provide them to us yourself. Below you will find an overview of the personal data we process:

- Information about your activities on our website
- Other personal data that you actively provide, for example by submitting a request for Expat Services via our website, in correspondence and by telephone.
EEAS processes your personal data for the following purposes:
- For the prevention and combating of fraud and money laundering
- Processing your payment
- To be able to call or email you if this is necessary to perform our services
- To offer you the option of creating an account
Automated decision-making
EEAS does not take any decisions based on automated processing on matters that could have (significant) consequences for individuals. These are decisions taken by computer programs or systems, without involving a human being (e.g. an EEAS employee). EEAS does not use such a system.
How long we retain personal data
EEAS does not retain your personal data for longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data is collected. We apply the following retention periods:
The retention period for the data contained in the valuation reports you provide is laid down in the NRVT regulations and is currently 10 years in all cases.
Personal data will be retained for as long as required by law for the purpose of storing and making available the original valuation reports and appendices.
Other personal data will be retained for as long as necessary to provide you with a good service or as required by law.
Sharing personal data with third parties
EEAS will not sell your data to third parties and will only disclose it if this is necessary for the performance of our agreement with you and will only make it available to third parties involved in the provision of Expat Services or to comply with the applicable regulations and in the event of a legal obligation.
We enter into a processing agreement with companies that process your data on our behalf to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data.

Cookies, or similar techniques, that we use
EEAS does not use cookies or similar technologies.
View, modify or delete data
You have the right to view, correct or delete your personal data. You also have the right to withdraw your consent to the data processing or to object to the processing of your personal data by EEAS, and you have the right to data portability.
This means that you can submit a request to us to send the personal data we have about you in a computer file to you or another organisation specified by you. You can send a request for access, correction, deletion, data transfer of your personal data or request for withdrawal of your consent or objection to the processing of your personal data to info@eeas.nl.
To ensure that the request for access has been made by you, we ask you to send a copy of your ID with the request. In this copy, black out your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and Citizen Service Number (BSN). This is to protect your privacy. We will respond to your request as soon as possible, but within four weeks.
