We use taxatiesoftware developed in-house for the Dutch version and we've added an English translation module to assist our back office to translate from the original Dutch report to a comprehensive English version.

We have developed taxatiesoftware over many years and this has been used for more than 100,000 Dutch taxatierapports. The taxatierapport is based on a formal specification and this static structure can be automatically translated. However, each property valuation is different and the valuer adds multiple comments thoughout the report which cannot be automatically translated. Each report also has a unique combination of reference properties and model value references and these also can't be automatically translated. We have developed an advanced system to assist our expat staff with multiple-year valuation experience to translate correctly to English. This takes time!

The short answer is no. The normal reason for a taxatierapport is to value residential property for the purposes of obtaining finance. The Dutch taxatierapport also needs to be validated by NWWI for it to be accepted by banks. The English Taxatierapport is a professional translation of the legal Dutch report.

You have two options to obtain a Dutch taxatierapport. The first is to arrange it yourself. You can search on the internet, ask your financial advisor or ask your bank. However, you have a second option and that is to ask us to also handle that for you. If the property to be valued is in Amsterdam or the surrounding areas we can value the property ourselves. If the property is in another part of the Netherlands we can arrange a valuation for you with a colleague from our network.

The English Taxatierapport is a translation of the Dutch taxatierapport which was undertaken by a qualified valuer. We can't comment on the content of the English Taxatierapport and any questions need to be directed towards the valuer. You can be assured that the process and content of the report is correct because it will have been validated by NWWI. We can answer any questions with regards to the process in general and help you from the position of being a single point of contact.
